Does HejMuse publish automatically when I connect TikTok?
No. Connecting an account authorizes the permissions you choose, but it does not publish anything. You still select the content, review the account and settings, and explicitly confirm each publishing action.
What TikTok information does HejMuse use?
HejMuse uses the app-scoped account identifier, display details, granted permissions, and the latest creator posting options needed to show the correct account and configure a post. OAuth credentials remain encrypted on the server.
What is the difference between Direct Post and Upload to TikTok?
Direct Post sends the confirmed post through TikTok's publishing flow and HejMuse shows its status. Upload to TikTok sends the confirmed media to your TikTok inbox so you can finish the post inside TikTok.
Can I disconnect my TikTok account?
Yes. Disconnecting attempts to revoke the provider token, removes the stored access and refresh credentials, and prevents further publishing through that connection. Limited delivery history remains so previous activity stays understandable.
